You would never know it from the inactivity over here, but I have a dam-at-bursting-point catalogue of photos from Chiang Mai to share with you. I've been waiting until I had the words to accompany them but a precautionary release might be required lest there is a sudden and unmanageable flood.
One thing I can say straight up is that there will not be any people. Couldn't do it. I'm backward enough about photographing people I know and positively paralysed when it comes to strangers. In any case, it just didn't feel right snatching images of people I wouldn't dream of photographing if I passed them in the street in Perth. Too intrusive! Please enjoy, instead, my images of the things you might pass on the street in Chiang Mai. I'm hoping my obsession with paper lanterns and tangled electrical cables doesn't wear you down.
