My Mac has been attacked by the spinning beach ball of doom and inefficiency. Sooooo, no photos, again, coz Typepad can't manage to publish them on iPad. Did I mention that already?
Random things in my world today:
~rats chewing through our concrete and carpet underlay
~a friend who brings sunshine through the door with her
~freaking out about swimming at the beach now that I'm watching the very-badly-acted-by-today's-standards-but-still-terrifying Jaws
~a husband who is feeling crook enough to ditch the paperwork to watch Jaws (and we're talking a seriously disciplined fella)
-children who, despite having very few demands placed on them, are driving me bonkers with their whingeing and bickering
~discovering the fabulous game Abalone and rediscovering Cluedo
~finding excuses to use my new steaming iron (is that what they're called?)
~dried cranberries
~unimpressed by my second pair of $99 Witner sandals breaking
~scheming ways to incorporate grass green and canary yellow into our decor
~excited about the arrival of some really-oh truly-oh sink into outdoor furniture
I'm boring me. I'm going to devote my full attention now to Jaws and Invasion. No one watches one show at a time any more, right?
Hello Typepad app on my iPad, are you working? You see, I'm on holidays and I was hoping you might do a few posts for me. Maybe with pictures? No? Oh well. Just words then.
And will you promise to actually publish the words I write? Not to lose them like my iPhone app? Good. It was so discouraging to lose two, long posts in a row typed with one finger on my phone. I didn't want to see either of you for a while after that. If you work with me tonight all that could change. I foresee a long and happy partnership. But I'll always be sad that you won't publish my photos. That's harder to overlook.
