It's the second last day of the year! A belated merry Christmas (do you know, if you type it too fast, you end up with "bleated", and that's about how it would sound if I said it at this time of night?!) to you all and a Happy New Year! Whether you're relaxing or living it up, hope it's good!
There's been a bit going on here in the last three weeks, including a wonderful Christmas in the country with my family (17 kiddos on Christmas Day...beautiful, crazy, noisy fun and the obligatory nap relay for the grown-ups), a broken arm, gastro all 'round, a visit from Killer's folks, not much sleep, spring cleaning, and helping my folks shift house. I have HUNDREDS of photos but an uncooperative computer, so you may, in fact, be spared.
My favourite present? Looking up in the midst of all the frantic paper tearing on Christmas day to see tears pouring down my sister's face. She was overcome with the deep happiness of all of us being together (first time we've shared the day with my half-brother and his family), which led to a lot of hugging and my own tears. None of us know what next Christmas will hold. Or tomorrow. It was precious to have that day.
